Hello! My name is Paige Pendergrast. I am a writer, video editor, and film creator.

As you may have noticed, my name is Paige Pendergrast. I’m a person just like you, except with less upper arm strength. I’ve been a storyteller since the moment I could talk. My mother was forced to listen to more than one epic about how an asteroid or volcanic eruption had destroyed my elementary school, so class was cancelled! Since then, my delightful white lies have evolved into TV scripts and short films on a variety of topics, but always with a dash of dark humor for spice.

I’m a Gen Z from NJ, but don’t let that put you off. I make a mean latte and outside of my annual season of hibernation I sleep less than the average bullfrog. I graduated from Hamilton College (NY) with a Cinema and Media Studies and Japanese Studies double major (本当です!), so I clearly took the most employable path possible. I have fortunately been able to have a variety of film and video experiences in college and high school. I researched, wrote, directed, and edited a short documentary film about mixed race Japanese women, for which I received an Emerson Grant.

I have a strong interest in film/video production, and TV scriptwriting. I won the The Dwight N. Lindley Prize, which is an award for the best essay written during the academic year, so I words good. I was officially hired in 2019 by Hamilton College as a Study Abroad/Admissions Office Video Employee, tasked with conducting and filming student interviews for a promotional video series. This included operating the camera/audio equipment and editing footage (I’m a one woman band). I also learned to fly drones to obtain some cool shots, so watch out Amazon drones.
